Google AI Studio API key for Alkanzo

Use this page to create a key, understand risks, and fix common verification issues.

Steps
  1. Open Google AI Studio and sign in with the Google account that should own billing and API access.

  2. Create an API key from the API keys section and restrict it to Generative Language / Gemini APIs where possible.

  3. Copy the key and paste it into Alkanzo when prompted. We only store it encrypted and use it for your generations during your free trial with that key.

Warnings
  • Usage billed by Google applies to your Google Cloud / AI Studio account. Monitor quotas and costs in Google Cloud Console.

  • Treat the key like a password. Anyone with the key can use your Google AI quota.

  • Revoke or rotate the key in Google AI Studio if you suspect it was exposed.

Debugging and reasoning
  • HTTP 403 often means the API is disabled for the project tied to the key, or the key lacks permission. Enable “Generative Language API” for that project.

  • HTTP 400 may indicate an invalid or malformed key string. Copy the key again without spaces or quotes.

  • If verification says a model family is missing, your key’s project may not yet have access to Veo / Imagen / image preview models. Check model availability in AI Studio documentation for your region.
